Simran Oberoi
I spent the first four years of my legal career at a prestigious family law firm. If you can navigate divorce proceedings, custody disputes, and the occasional unsolicited parenting advice, you learn a lot about communication, compassion, and patience. I’ve successfully represented clients at all levels of court in B.C., and approach litigation with strategy, persistence, and a strong appreciation for out-of-court solutions (and everyone’s time) whenever it serves my clients best interests. I don’t shy away from a challenge; rather, I welcome it.
I’ve expanded my practice into general civil litigation, where I get to untangle complex problems, build creative arguments, and sometimes explain obscure procedural rules with the enthusiasm of someone who genuinely enjoys obscure procedural rules.
I grew up in Abbotsford, which means I know the Fraser Valley as more than just a traffic report. Outside the office, I’m learning to golf—a hobby that’s going exactly as well as you’d expect when your strengths are mostly indoors and argumentative. I’m also a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan, which means I’ve developed unwavering commitment, thick skin, and a strong belief in fighting to the end. I bring that same dedication to every case, combining focus, strategic insight, and a results-driven approach.
