What led me to pursue a career in law was my overarching desire to help real people, with real life problems, and make a positive impact in their lives. I work to achieve this goal each and every day.

My clients are my top priority. I will do whatever it takes to ensure they are well informed of their legal rights and responsibilities. I have a straightforward and practical approach when it comes to advising my clients and tailoring a solution to meet their needs. You may not always like the advice I give, but it will always be in your best interests.

I have a general legal practice which takes me to various levels of court in British Columbia, administrative tribunals, and through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms when appropriate.

Although I enjoy the challenge and excitement of representing clients in a courtroom, I do not shy away from advising my clients when, and if, settlement is an appropriate option. After all, I work for my clients and will do whatever necessary to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

If you are looking for someone to help you navigate through your legal matter, or represent you throughout the process, you need not look any further.

I believe in people being empowered to decide what happens in their lives, even when life has other plans.

While I am considered the “soft touch” of the firm, I will always fight for my clients’ rights and interests. Whenever appropriate, I steer my clients towards mediation or other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to avoid the time and cost associated with a court action. However, I recognize when court action may become necessary and will proceed with whatever legal proceedings may become necessary to advocate for my clients’ rights.

I take the time to understand what drives each and every one of my clients. I am not afraid to ask tough questions to shed light on what motivates my clients. This allows us to remain on the same page and work towards the same goal.

At the end of the day, it is my desire to help clients regain control of their lives that pushes me to keep doing what I am doing.

You have a problem – I can fix it.
I run a broad practice and am interested in providing my clients outside-the-box, but practical, solutions. My clients range from everyday individuals to large corporations. I put 50,000 km on my car yearly. I am flexible and accommodating when it comes to meeting with clients.
It’s safe to say I run the litigation arm of the firm. I have presented cases at all levels of court in British Columbia, and several administrative tribunals.
Sometimes honey catches all the bees. Sometimes it doesn’t. I assess each case individually to determine the best course of action.
I am not afraid to duke it out in court. I am also not afraid to tell my clients when they have a weak case or when it is in their best interests to settle.
I appreciate you invest your hard-earned money to get good, solid advice. I strive to deliver that.
